Recovered from the Potomac River Basin near Harpers Ferry, this naturally sculpted sycamore root is a one-of-a-kind expression of the relationship between nature, time, and the universe.

Its twisting roots and weathered contours create an organic form that feels almost otherworldly—reminiscent of celestial formations, nebulae, and distant galaxies. Set upon a natural stone base and illuminated with delicate lights, the piece transforms into a luminous sculptural experience, inviting the viewer to discover new shapes and connections from every angle.

The wood has been preserved in its naturally sculptural state, allowing the character of the root, its twists, hollows, and intricate branching to remain the focal point.

A natural work of art that brings the mystery of the forest and the vastness of the cosmos into the home.
